He Binds them All!

We all have experienced a "wounded heart" at some stage in our lives! The nature of the actual wound will differ from person to person as will the cause of the wound. It can be our own foolish actions or ignorance that caused it or it could have been caused by the actions of others. The way to restoration is always by confessing our wrongdoings and forgiving those who caused our pain and hurt on a personal level!

But at times the wounds are so deep and painful that it is too difficult for us to fully confess and forgive!    The deep pain and hurt will not allow it.   So, we do confess and forgive but only to a certain level.   Thus, without God’s healing of the wounded heart, it is difficult to truly confess and forgive.   The pain and the hurt (the wounds) in the heart no man can remove.

There is only one who can do this and His name is Jesus Christ (Isaiah 61:1).

Isaiah 61:1

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners”

The Heart that is completely healed.

The heart that is completely healed Is the one that not only confessed and forgave but is the one that was also healed and restored by Jesus.

Here is a helpful key.  God does not ask us if we can fully confess and forgive!  No!   He asks us if we are willing to!   He asks us if we are willing to trust Him to do what we cannot!  God knows that at times the pain is too deep and intense; it makes it nearly impossible for us to forgive. But He can do what we cannot!

Philippians 4:13

”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

1 John 1: 9

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
