You ask: "Why am I going through this, why is this happening to me?" You don't need to understand, it is to your benefit if you don't understand. You are busy buying gold refined by fire, trust God, believe God, and do what He tells you to do.

Prayer
God grant me the grace not to try and rely on my own understanding. Grant me the grace to trust you and rely on you with my whole heart and mind! Thank you that you always know best. In Jesus name, amen!
