You do not need to defend the truth!

The first question: What is the truth?

The truth is not a collection of facts, it is a spirit (word of wisdom by Pastor Ben Jordaan). Jesus is The Truth (John 14: 6) and it is The Holy Spirit that lead us in truth!

John 14: 6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 16:13

But when the Spirit of truth comes he will lead you into all truth.

Therefore where Jesus and the Holy Spirit is not involved, you cannot find the truth!

Does the truth need defending?

Does God need defending? No! But He (Jesus) needs you not to deny His name and to stand for the Truth! But defending it? No! YOU SEE THE TRUTH IS LIKE A LION (AND JESUS IS CALLED THE LION OF JUDAH)!

Revelation 5:5

And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”

Why is truth like a lion?

“The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself.”

The world does not possess the truth!

Why not you ask?! Well...

1 John 5:19

We are certain we come from God and the rest of the world is under the power of the devil.

NB - The word is not the earth nor is it the people that dwell on it, it is the systems of this world that are under the power of the devil.

Question does the South African government have the truth regarding Israel? Does CNN, BBC or Fox news possess the truth?!

Conclusion

The Truth is The Word of God revealed by The Holy Spirit. Therefore everything must be examine in The Light of God's Word.
